Well the Chappells have been sick. All three of us have had some like of sickness going on. Randal has been fighting the congestion/cough for going on the third week now. He said he could have been the one to give it to Caylee-Grace. He will probably end up going to the doctor next week if he isn't better especially after hunting this weekend in this weather. I've had a little congestion/sinus headache but not the cough. Caylee-Grace started with the sneezing about 2 weeks ago, then it was the running nose and last Saturday started coughing so I called the pediatrician to see what to give her and they said benadryl every 6 hours and if she wasn't better by Wednesday to come in to see the doctor, so I did that but the cough seemed to be getting worse and in her chest so I decided since they are predicting the snow storm, I took her to the doctor yesterday to get checked out. She has the croup. Bless her little heart, she hasn't had any fever but she coughs and barks and her throat must hurt because she cries after she has one of her rough cough spells. They put her on steroids for 3 days. She hasn't had any fever (just low grade 99.5). They said the steroids might make her have an have an appetite and also a little fussy and the fussy/moody started tonight at 6:30 tonight until she went to bed at 8:00. She even fussed through her bathtime which she loves. Bless her heart - hope she feels better soon or it is going to be a long few days seeing that we might get snowed in the a few days. I going to love this wearing my flannel pjs, fuzzy socks and lots of cuddling time with Caylee-Grace. Randal will be at the hunting club if he can make it there in the morning. So it is going to be just Caylee-Grace and I here for the next few days.
On another note, one of my New Years Resolutions was to work on my spiritual life and I have studied my bible every day this week before work and I feel so good to get in that routine again. I also have jogged everyday. I haven't had any sweets since last Friday and sweet tea once since then also. I've lost 2.5 pounds and feel better.
Hope everyone is safe over the next few days in this snow we are suppose to have. I might make some snow ice cream if we get enough.

Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
Oh my stars! The above comment is pathetic. The "anonymous" could've at least stepped up and put a name. How cowardly!
Anyways, I hope all of you feel better soon. You have always been a great Christian example for me and I appreciate it and love you bunches.
