Our Hunting Week

Well as you can see by the picture above that Randal was the only one this week that got a deer. Also posted pictures of family at Thanksgiving. My cousin Tyler is in the Marines and will be leaving in January for about 6 months for Iraq. This is his second time to go. It was good seeing him.

I went down to the hunting club on Monday after work. I seen a lot of deer this week but only got a shot on two. Randal killed that doe on Tuesday. We came home Wednesday night after church so that we could do Thanksgiving Thursday at my uncles at lunch and then his mothers that evening. We went back Thursday night and hunted Friday and Saturday. Oh and just wanted to add this comment "WAR EAGLE". I shot a doe Friday about 10:55 a.m. We found a blood trail but it ended and we never found the deer. I guess I didn't shot it where I should have. Friday morning, Randal killed that eight point you see. It weighted 205 lbs. Nice buck. Saturday evening I missed a doe. Didn't find any blood. I think I missed her. Well, Crystal I didn't get you any meat to cook but Randal did. Better luck next time. I'm not having a good season so far. Randal has already killed two does and a buck. I don't get to go back until the 8th. Maybe I will have better luck then.

Well it is back to the real world tomorrow. I haven't exercised in 6 days and I"m really looking forward to getting back in my routine with exercise. I don't think I gained any weight though. We do a lot of walking while hunting. It sure was cold and windy alot and even rainy one day. But I'm tough I can handle it.
