Happy Birthday to Me (Not a Happy One)

Well it has been an interesting two days. I woke up yesterday morning at 1:15 with the stomach virus. Christopher had it over the weekend at the family retreat and I believe some of us caught it. Randal said I better not give it to him. He washed all the sheets and disinfected the apt when he came home yesterday morning from work. He is so funny! I love him though. I know that Crystal and Nathan got it the same time I did. Oh well, we enjoyed the retreat and fellowship. The singing was awesome. I love to sing.

I was going to call in sick but I've never called in sick a day in my life. I have had perfect attendance ever since I started working (oh except when my grandparents died). I felt better after I took a shower and I didn't have any fever so I went on to work and it was my b'day - they wouldn't have believed me if I called in sick anyway. I didn't get to eat my b'day lunch but I did manage to keep a pkg of peanut butter crackers and a sprite zero down. Later yesterday I did eat small piece of my b'day cake. I just didn't feel good. I was so tired by the time I got off that I was in bed at 6:45 last night. Are ya'll ready for this - I didn't even go to the gym last night. I had 0 energy. I'm feeling a lot better today. I actually just ate Moe's for lunch and so far so good. I'm getting ready to go eat another piece of my b'day cake.

Today is my mothers b'day - HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET MOTHER. Tomorrow is my father-in-laws b'day.

I'm getting excited about my trip to Savannah on Thursday. Me and three of my friends are leaving at 5:15 a.m. Thursday morning to Savannah, GA. I'm so ready for a vacation. I haven't had any time off since February. We are not coming back until next Monday. The weather isn't looking real good in Savannah but we will just put on a poncho and go. I'm going to teach my friends how to play "hand and foot".

Hope everyone is having a great week. I probably won't be posting again until I get back next week if I don't take my laptop with me.

I'm starting to think us having to miss the retreat this year maybe had its advantages... eww!
