I've got to get better at this blogging so when I do it isn't so long. Alot has been going on at the Chappells lately. Last week was mine and my mothers birthdays and my brother Carl also came in last week to visit. We had a great time. He came in last Thursday and stayed until Sunday morning. Caylee-Grace had a great time with her Uncle Carl.

Thursday night we celebrated me and my mothers birthdays with the family and card gang. Had a blast and great food. They made me a cookie cake and my mother chocolate pies. Yummy! Friday night we went to Sumos for my birthday. I love Japenese. I always get the steak and chicken. Saturday morning we went to Harpers birthday party at the slashpad then headed over to Niki's West for lunch for my mothers birthday, then over to my parents to play cards. Sunday was our team meeting at church - which means more wonderful food. I've gained 10 pounds over the last 2 months. I've got to get with the exercising and stop eating so much.

Sunday night I decided to take the paci away from CG for good. We collected them all and put them in a ziploc baggie and told her she was a big girl now and was going to be 2 next month and she didn't need the paci's anymore to throw them away. So she went to the trash and put them in there and said "bye bye". Randal was videoing the whole thing and even asked her if she really knew what she was doing. Funny after a few minutes, she went back to the trash and looked in there. Well all went well when she went to bed she only cried 5 minutes and went to sleep. I thought to myself - hmmmmm - either she is going to do well without it or I missed one of the paci's in her bed and she found it. Guess what? Yes the next morning she had a paci - crap - I missed that up - I missed one. So last night was her first real night without the paci. It was really bad for me. She only cried 15 minutes and went to sleep and didn't hear another peep out of her but that 15 minutes of crying was horrible - she was crying and saying "mommy", "mommy" - just broke my heart. I just sat in my room and cried. Finally she cried herself to sleep and I finally went to bed - still feeling the need to cry. I hate having to hear her cry and especially for me. Oh well maybe after a few nights she will realize it isn't coming back and it will pass. Next hurdal is going to be the potty training - stayed tuned for that.
