Took Caylee-Grace for her 1 year check-up yesterday. She developed a really bad rash on her buttock about 3 days ago that was really making her uncomfortable and fussy. Found out it was a yeast infection from the antibiotic she took for that viral infection/upper respiratory. Bless her heart she would just try every time we changed her diaper. The doctor told us to put Lotromin cream on it 4 times a day. It is gotten alot better.
She weighs a whopping 15 lbs 2 oz. 26 1/2 inches long. She had to get 4 shots and her finger stuck. She doesn't like to go to the doctor that is for sure. She cried the whole time he examined her. She check out great. He said she was still small but healthy and was catching up.
Just the last week or two she has started pointing to things. She still doesn't say many words but jabbers her own language. She has protested baby food now so we just feed her from the table. Little Miss Independent doesn't want anything spoon fed to her she wants to feed herself. She loves hot dogs, chicken and turkey. She eats green beans, peas and eggs, bacon and toast. Loves yogurt. Finally drinking whole milk. It has to be warmed but she drinks it. Haven't gotten her to drink milk in a sippy cup yet. It is going to be a long journey getting rid of the bottle.
Had to work 1/2 a day today. Met Candace at Christmas Village. We had a great time. The babies got a little fussy.
Looking forward to my hubby coming home tonight. It has been since last Saturday since we seen him. He went out to Illinois to hunt. Bless his heart he didn't have any luck. I feel so bad for him. He so deserve to go out there and kill him a big one. We are going to spend the day together as a family tomorrow. Caylee-Grace is going to be so excited to see her Daddy in the morning. She has missed him this week.
