WINGS/SICKNESS

Last Friday night we had a pool party with the WINGS group (Women In God's Service). We were intruded to our new mentors. I was matched with Meagan Tavel. She wasn't there because she had gone to Corners' football game but I look forward to getting to know her and good things happening in this program. I think it is an awesome program we have a church where we have activities with the younger teenage girls and our mentors to them. We had a blast playing in the pool. We had some awesome food too! I love to get together with my Christian friends, we always have such good fellowship.

I hate this picture below (I look horrible)

On another note, I have had a sick baby this week. Monday after her lunch she started throwing up then just wanted to sleep. No fever until that night. She slept for 2 hours woke up and started throwing up again. By 3:30 she was feeling better and drinking her juice and I got home with some pedilyte and she loved that. She didn't throw up anymore and she actually ate some rice cereal and fruit and drink some milk before going to bed that night. She slept all night. I guess it was just something she ate that day for lunch. Then yesterday evening she started the runny, snotty nose and low grade fever (99) she we are using the saline drops and sucking her nose out and giving her Ibuprofen and Tylenol. She seems to be feeling ok so maybe it is just a cold. We are still using the cool mist humidifier at night and when she is napping so that will help some. Bless her heart.

I took today off as my floating holiday since the 4th of July was on a Saturday so I'm off until next Tuesday since next Monday is a holiday and I'm off on Thurs and Friday anyway. So Yippee - I won't want to go back to work then. But I will only have to work 2 days then I will be off again and next week is my 40th birthday so that is going to be fun to look forward to. I don't feel that old so I"m not going to let it bother me. I'm just happy to be alive and healthy and have my precious baby girl to keep me young. That she will especially when she starts walking. I think she is trying to get the second tooth in.

A lady a church gave Caylee-Grace this precious bow. Doesn't she look precious with it? It is almost as big as she is.

Have to share this picture of her with her sippy cup. She has finally learned how to use it. Notice that the sippy cup is orange and blue (War Eagle) We gave it to her about a month ago. She likes it.

Looking forward to Girls Night Out this Friday night. We are going to Stixs to eat. Yum Yum. Can't wait.

Hope everyone has a great week and long holiday weekend.
