Visit to the Lake

We left for the lake Friday evening to have a get together at Randal's Dads lake house on Lay Lake. We slept until 7:45 (that is after waking up at 5:30 to feed Caylee-Grace then got her back to sleep). We were lazy all day. We didn't get out on the lake like everyone else, entirely too hot to be out. We stayed in where it was cool. About 3 pm we filled Caylee-Grace's pool up and put it down under the porch where it was cooler and shaded. She played in it for about 15 minutes then took her down to the pier for about 10 minutes then back inside where she finally took a short nap.

Caylee-Grace has been really fussy today. She usually will play on with her gym on Sunday mornings while we are getting ready but today she had to have one us keep her company so I'm really surprised we made it to church on time since we had to take turns playing with her while the other got ready. Also, Meagan called me this morning to get me to teach the cradle roll class because she wasn't feeling well. I haven't taught yet but I'm suppose to begin teaching on Wednesday nights starting in August. Teale and I are going to rotate weeks teaching. I told Meagan I would try my best but we never get to church on time on Sunday mornings that is why I said I would teach on Wednesdays instead. We I taught there was only 3 babies in there, Asa, Blake and Caylee-Grace. I don't know how good I did (I thought it I did a awful job) but I got through it. I'm going to practice on the weekends with Caylee-Grace. It's all new to me teaching so I thought starting with the babies would be a good start. I've always been scared to teach but I wanted to get more involved in the church so I am biting the bullet and getting started teaching and maybe more later. Caylee-Grace has been fussier tonight. She usually loves her bath but she cried and also didn't eat very well this evening so I hope she isn't trying to get sick again. Hopefully it is just the teething. I gave her some Motrin and just put her to bed.

This is my last full week of working full-time. Effective July 1st, I will be part time. Praise the Lord! I'm so excited I can't hardly stand it. I will start Mon-Wed on July 6th. I can't wait to get some things done around the house and spending lots of time with Caylee-Grace. Hope everyone had a good weekend and has a good week this week. Tomorrow Caylee-Grace will be 8 months. I will post a photo tomorrow.
