Well Randal and I played the cry it out game I call it last night with Caylee-Grace. She feel asleep at 8:30 nursing so I put her in bed and told Randal I give her 30 minutes and I bet she will start the crying. Well I was almost right. It was 35 minutes later and she started to cry. I went in there and put the passy in her mouth and patted her little butt a few times and she went back to sleep. 20 minutes later she started crying harder so I went back in there and gave the the passy again and put her on her back and patted her again and left her there to cry. Randal and I went to bed and after only 2 minutes of the screaming, Randal said "How long has it been?" I said only 2 minutes, he said "That's all?" so after 10 minutes of her screaming, I went in there to check on her and she had moved to corner of the bed she screamed for 10 more minutes and gave it up. Boy was she mad. She pitched the bigger fit with her legs and arms. I think she has her Daddy's temper (Sorry Randal - it is true) She went to sleep by 10pm. She did steer about 12:30 but put the passy back and patted her and she was back to sleep and then at 2:30 but she slept in her bed until 5 this morning. We won Yippee! I tell you it wasn't fun listening to that. It gave me a headache and I wanted so bad to go in there and comfort her and I know Randal did too but it did her good. We will see how tonight goes.
She tried corn today and she loves it mother said. Moving right along maybe we will try meats in a few weeks. Finally got her out of the bumbo chair and into her highchair. She was getting too big and trying to get out of the bumbo and now that she is sitting up pretty good she has upgraded to the high chair.
I'm on the hunt for a swimsuit for her. If anyone knows where I can find one without ordering online, please let me know. I have been to Walmart and Macy's and the smallest size they have is 12 months. We are going to my sister-in-laws next weekend for a pool party and want to get her in the water for the first time. I'm going to buy her one of those floats that has a canopy over it and coat her down with 70 sunscreen. She loves her bath and just splashes with her hands and feet, I know she will love the pool.
I haven't heard anything about going part time yet. I'm hoping it will ge really soon. I'm ready to be home more with Caylee-Grace.

I would keep bringing up the part-time thing.
I bet she will love the water. She has such a good mommy. You are so good to that baby.
We are about to start "cry it out" AGAIN with Harper. We started doing it to get her on a better napping schedule and it worked like a charm. We never really pushed it at night because she was a good sleeper for the most part. Now she's started waking herself up several times per night just so we will come in there and rock her... so we are going to have to do it again. We will have to stick to our guns!
Does Old Navy have swimsuits for babies? You might want to check there...
I HATED crying it out with my kids, but it really worked. And by the third or fourth night, both of mine figured out that we weren't coming in there, so they just gave it up. I will keep my eyes open for swimsuits.
