Caylee-Grace is up to 11 pounds now and she turned over from her tummy to her back for the first time last night. We were playing cards (also celebrated Nancy Ingrams b'day) and Caylee-Grace was playing under her gym and mother was sitting out keeping score that time and was beside her and said " look she just turned over from her tummy" so I ran and go the camera. She won't turn from her back to her tummy though.
Here is the playing card gang
Here is a video from last night.
We are being lazy today. After a late night of playing cards and not getting into bed until 12:45 last night, I'm needing the rest. Caylee-Grace and I sleep downstairs in the bonus room since I didn't know when the storms where going to come and I didn't want to have to get up and move her so we went down there to sleep. She woke up at 3:45. I had her in the traveling bed and she seemed to want to wake up so I just put her in the bed with me and we went back off to sleep ( I know that isn't the best thing to start but I was tired and need to sleep) she then woke up at 6 am and I feed her laying down and we kept on sleeping until about 7:30 when I got up to get Randal some breakfast fixed. Randal played with her a short time before going to bed since this is he weekend to work. I feed her again at 8:50 and she fell asleep so I just crawled back in the bed and we slept until 11:30. I'm hoping to nap when she naps today.
I have been struggling with some sinus this week and have had some sinus headaches. I took Wednesday off because I had two doctors appointments and just wanted to be off. Caylee-Grace and I were gone all day. I took her to work to show off. She was such a good baby that day. I had to go to the dermatologist and the internal medicine doctor about my blood pressure. My blood pressure has been being really good except for last Thursday. I had a really bad day and had a headache and wasn't feeling the best. We went ahead and went to the housewarming party for Chance (our new Youth Minister) but when I got home that night and took my blood pressure it was 149/96 but it hasn't been that since then. The doctor said just to stay off the medicine that my pressure was fine. He wouldn't give me anything for my sinuses since I'm breastfeeding. If it gets too bad he told me to go to my ENT. I don't feel really bad. I've been taking children's benadryl and Advil for the headaches. Teale said she has taken Tylenol sinus so I got some of it. I thought that I had psoriasis but I have folliculitis which is when the hair follicles are infected in my head so have shampoo and antibiotic foam for it. Hopefully it will go away soon. Back to Caylee-Grace, she is so much fun these days. She is grabbing everything that is in front of her and loves to touch your face and just talks (coos) I believe she is going to walk before she crawls because she loves to try and stand. She still won't have nothing to do with cereal or oatmeal. We even tried putting a little apple sauce in it. We are going to wait another week or so and try again. Randal wants me to call the doctor because he thinks she should be eating. She is doing good without it but I guess I will call them this week and see what they suggest.
Now on to my Dad, he is doing alot better. He is still really weak. It is going to take some time to get back to speed. He has lost 43 pounds. He looks better then he did - he is getting some color back to him. He still doesn't eat alot but I think his stomach has shrunk. He has to use suspenders now to keep his pants up.
Here is a picture of me and Caylee-Grace napping last Sunday at my mothers. She has gotten to where now she is a little clingy to me and Randal. I was taking a nap and mother was playing with her and had to bring her to me so she could see me and we went off to sleep. She is just so precious. I could eat her up. She has brought so much joy in our lives. I hardly knew what I did before her now. Can you believe she will be 5 months tomorrow.
Sorry I have made this post so long and I'm sorry if I bored you. I guess I get alittle wordy when it has been so long since I blogged. I promise to do better. Hope everyone is doing good and having a good weekend.
One last picture of our Caylee-Grace in her extra saucer she loves to play in.

that big smile pic is the cutest thing! Harper rolled back to tummy first then took FOREVER to go tummy to back. That is so funny they are opposite! I wouldn't worry too much on the food... just keep trying every now and then and she'll eventually take to it. Enjoy it while it's still FREE! LOL
I am so happy that everything is going well. You have a precious family. Hope the sinus thing clears up and so glad your dad is much better
The picture of you and her sleeping is so adorable. I love ya'll both SO much.
