Well Dad is doing a little better. His pain is better. They have him on oxygen because it was low. He is very weak and is swollen up. They are putting him on an inhaler which I think he should have been on all the time since he wheezes so much. His enzymes were really high when they did a sonar on his gallbladder so that means infection so they are treating that. They won't be able to remove his gallbladder until his pancreatic is healed so they will be sending him home and will schedule outpatient surgery when it heals. Mother went up last night to give him a bath and she said he is so weak and had to have help getting him back to bed. He is going to have to have a walker when he comes home. Bless his heart, he look bad. His eyes are all buck out like and he is swollen. I hate to see him like that but hopefully the surgery will help him and he won't have to go through this again. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. He will probably get to go home Friday or Saturday and we aren't really sure when he will have the surgery just whenever his pancreas is healed some.
Caylee-Grace started rice cereal again day before yesterday and she really doesn't like it. I think it is making her constipated. Night before last she was up at 2:50 and last night I got her down at 8:15 and she was up at 1:30 I think she was hurting trying to poop and I feed her and she went back down so I slept until 4:50 and got on up and got ready for work. I'm going to only give her the rice every other night to get her use to it. I'm going to put a little Karo syrup in it tonight to help with the constipation. If it doesn't work, I'm going to just not give her the rice cereal. She is sleeping good but still eating every 2-3 hours in the day time. She really doesn't need it now but I thought I would start it to help her go longer in the daytime eating. She is so much fun now. She just laughs out loud and is trying her best to turn over. We are going this weekend to my friends house to get mother-daughter photos made. Hope she will do good.
Well have a good day. I've got to go to work and get some caffeine to stay alert. I'm exhausted. I'm still having headaches and being dizzy and lightheaded. I thought it was my sinuses but I'm hoping it is my blood pressure medicine. I'm going to call my doc today and ask them about it. Maybe I can get off of it or it can be changed. I'm tired of feeling this way it scares me.

I am really not even sure how I found your blog. I hop from blog to blog. I live in Birmingham (Vestavia Hills) and have 2 children. A little girl that is 7 years old and a baby boy who is 9 months. Try single grain oatmeal instead of rice. Rice does cause constipation frequently. My pediatrician suggested oatmeal with my little boy. Also, mix a little stage one pears or apples in the with oatmeal. She will like it much better.

I will be praying your dad gets better soon. I have also heard rice cereal can cause constipation and oatmeal might work better. We're going to give it a try at 6 months w/ Harper.
Thanks for the comments I might try that oatmeal but I might just wait another month or so before I start it.
