Gatlinburg Trip

Well we had a great time at the Mountains this weekend. We really didn't do much but we had fun anyway. We didn't get there until 11:00 their time Thursday night. Caylee-Grace did really well on the 6 hour trip in her car seat. She was so ready to get out of it though. We only had to stop twice to feed her.

Friday we slept until 9am. We went to breakfast at 11 so we didn't eat any lunch. We just went to the outlets and to the Walmart (if you know me, you know that I had to go to the Walmart). We went out to eat that night at The Old Mill Restaurant. It was really good. When we left to go to eat, my car wouldn't start. We had to get it jumped off and then we went straight to the Advanced Auto store. It was my battery. We ended up having to buy a new one. Good thing that didn't happen when we were at Cades Cove the next day. I'm just thankful that was all it was. We didn't get to eat supper until around 7:45. We were starved since we didn't eat lunch.

Saturday morning we got up and went to Cades Cove around 7am. We introduced the deer to Caylee-Grace. After taking a few pictures with the snow, we came back and took a nap. I did get in 2 miles on their treadmill after the nap. That is the first time I have exercised in a week. I have got to start exercising at least 3 times a week to feel better if not anything else. Saturday night we meet the Daniels at Calhouns and ate supper and visited with them for awhile. We was so good to get to spend a little time with them. This is the minister at the Sevierville Church of Christ that we have been going to ever since we starting coming up the mountains. They are two wonderful Christian people and we really enjoy being around them and especially hearing John preach. He is such a great speaker. I really enjoy hearing him each time we are hear. They were excited to finally get to meet Caylee-Grace in person. We will get up in the morning and go to church and then head home. Seems like this weekend has flown by but we have enjoyed oursel We are coming back up here in May for a little family reunion but the Daniels won't be here they will be out of town. I sure will hate not seeing them.

I found the cutest onesie for her that has on the front of it "Made in the Smokies" I will have to take her picture in it for ya'll. You know that is where she was conceived so that was perfect.

Here are a few pictures we took at the mountains. We really didn't take many. Can't wait to come back and stay longer.

ves.
