Eating Better and Getting Ready to Hunt

Well I started my diet last Saturday or can I say a lifestyle change hopefully. I haven't had any sugar except for my sweet tea and I haven't had much of it either. I've been eating veggies and fruit and lots of chicken and soups, drinking lots and lots of water and 100% juices. I have been on the treadmill and even got to go to spin class Monday night and I thought I had been doing good but what did I get out of this so far? 1 pound. Yes I have gained a pound since Saturday. Go figure! My goal was to lose all my baby fat before I went back to work but at this rate it isn't going to happen. I have 13 pounds to go and it isn't looking promising. I haven't lost a pound in a month and a half. I know it was because of the holidays and all the goodies but now I'm cutting it out. If I don't see results soon I'm going to be discouraged. Why deprive myself if I'm going to gain anyway. Oh well I'm not going to give up. I'm going to try harder if I can.

Caylee-Grace seems to be trying to get over the colic. We have had two good days without all that fussiness. She even slept 6 hours last night. I hope that it continue. Especially since I have to go back to work in 2 weeks. I just want to say that I HATE it. I'm going to be so lost without her all day. I'm going to cry everyday when I leave her. She is smiling a lot more and almost laughing. She has found her hands and looks at them and sucks her fist. She is getting to be a chunk. I bet she is at least 8 lb something. She has also started watching TV and objects and follows them. Can't believe how fast she is growing. I want her to stay a baby.

Well Randal and I took Caylee-Grace to mothers this morning to keep her while we went and shot my rifle. I'm going to go hunting this weekend. We are taking mother with us to keep Caylee-Grace while I hunt. I'm so excited. I didn't think that I was going to get to hunt this year. I will be posting photos of Caylee-Graces' first trip to the hunting club. I'm hoping to at least get a doe or two. Maybe I will get lucky and get a buck.

You keep up exercising like that and the weight will start falling off. Don't get discouraged. :)

Yes, please kill a doe this weekend and share some meat with me. :) OH, and put Caylee is some cute camo gear while there. It's only fitting, you know.

Enjoy these last two weeks. You will be heavy on my heart and mind that first day back. Love you!
