Not so good news from Doctor Wednesday

Yeah we have internet now at home!

Went to the doctor yesterday morning and got a real big shock. When they checked my blood pressure it was 140/98. I said "What?". I've had such a great pregnancy and my blood pressure has been so good until now. Of all the weeks for something to go wrong, my parents and his mother are out of town. My parents are in Colorado and his mother is in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mother-in-law is coming back on Saturday - not sure about my folks. I guess Caylee has control after all. The doctor said he wanted to take me to Labor and Delivery and monitor me for a few hours and get some lab work and an ultrasound to try to see what was causing my blood pressure to go up. So at 10 am I was downstairs in the L & D. They did an ultrasound and everything looked good with Caylee Grace. They said that she weighted about 4.6 give or take. But when the doctor came in and told me that she was measuring small I got nervous. But he did say "you are a small person so she might just be a small baby". But he wanted to do a nipple stimulation test to see how she did during contractions and if my blood work came back good that I would be able to go home. Caylee Grace did really well during the test so it isn't her it is me. The doctor said my blood work was good and my blood pressure had gone down to 132/83 so he said I could go home but that I had to be on bed rest for the rest of the time and I have to go back on Saturday for another ultrasound and blood pressure check. He said that I had thinned out some but he really wanted me to thin out some more before they induce. It is according to what happens Saturday. If she hasn't grown any more and the placenta doesn't look good, we just might have a baby on Saturday, if everything is looking good, he will let me thin out a bit more then induce me next week. I was so not ready for this, I didn't have my bag packed or car seat ready or anything. Well we are going to be getting ready now. I'm trying my best to rest alot. No more exercising. Oh well.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers that everything will go well on Saturday and if we do have her, that she will be ok and since I'm considered full term now, it should be ok. I said I wanted a small baby. As long as she is healthy, I will be fine. Looks like we are going to have a October baby instead.

I will try to get some pictures up real soon of the belly and the house but I'm tired now and I"m going to take a nap.
