Ok, I'm a little behind on blogging but I have a good reason. I was worn out from my baby shower on Sunday. So today I will blog on my baby shower, my doctors appointment today and the birth of precious Harper Faith.
First of all, I had my first baby shower Sunday at church. To say the least it was the biggest shower I ever seen. I literally opened gifts from 1:45 until 4:15 with one potty break and I got to eat 2 bites of cake, 2 sips of punch and a bit of fruit. I never seen so many gifts. It was like Christmas. I was overwhelmed. God has surely bless us. I guess if you wait 6 1/1 years to get here it is well worth it. I'm so thankful to all my Christian family and my family and friends who help make my baby shower what it was. Caylee Grace has been well blessed. I don't think she will ever be able to wear all the clothes she got. I will have to play "dress me up" one day. I can hardly wait to see this precious angel that I have. Words can't express the emotion and excitement and overwhelming that I had that day. I was so worn out by the end of the day, my feet were swollen. Good thing I took off Monday. Mother came over and we went through some of the clothes separating them out by size and I wrote out a bunch of thank you notes, took a long nap and relaxed a little before the next day back to work.
Went back to the doctor today since I go every two weeks now. Everything is going well, didn't gain any weight again this month, blood pressure was great and I'm still measuring right now time. Went down to see Teale and precious Harper Faith that was born today. She is so precious. I couldn't hardly wait all day to get my hands on her. I'm so very happy that everything went well with Harper and that Teale is doing well along with tired Dad. This has been a blessed week already in more then one way. Here are a few pictures of Baby Harper. Can't wait to hold my precious Caylee Grace. I'm even more excited now to have a baby. Harper will have a new buddy in 9 1/2 weeks.
Tomorrow I will be 39 years old. Last b'day. I'm holding at this one. Looking forward to the cake. Lady at work is making me a Red Velvet Cake (YUM YUM). I get to celebrate just about all week and into next week. Caylee will surely have a sugar coma by next week. Mother is baking me an Itailian Creme Cake (my favorite) for this weekend. We are celebrating friday night at "Card Night". Randal and I are leaving Saturday to go to my friends house Ericka's that lives near Florence, AL to have our pregnancy pictures made. We won't be back until Sunday night. I can't hardly wait to share those pictures. She is a photographer so I'm excited to have that done. Stay tuned for better post just ahead.
