Answered Prayers

its a girl!

I just want to start off by thanking all my blogging buddies for the prayers and thoughts during this whole testing process. The good Lord has answered our prayers (for the most part). We went for our second trimester ultrasound test today and found out that there were no signs of any birth defects. We also found out "It's a Girl" (Chad and Christy, you were right). I feel so very blessed to have this precious baby and for everything to be going well and be healthy. Randal on the other hand is devastated that it isn't a boy. He had his heart set on a boy. I really thought it was a boy but I was wrong. Funny thing happened the other night. Monday night, I dreamed it was a girl and looked just like Randal. I guess that was a little preparation for me huh? Yes, we (Randal) had our heart set on a boy but I'm just thankful that it is a healthy baby and couldn't ask for anything else. This baby will be such a Daddy's Girl it isn't going to be funny. He is just going to have to get use to the idea of a girl just like he had to get use to me being pregnant. Please pray for him. He really needs it right now. Bless his heart, he is going through so much with this pregnancy, trying to get our house started and now coming to reality that it is going to be a girl and not a boy. It is going to be a tom girl no doubt. She is going to hunt with the best of the guys just like her mother does. Bring on the girly camo people. I was going to post a new photo but my scanner doesn't do pdf or whatever it is suppose to be to post on here. I will try it later. I also want to post a picture of the cute outfit that my mother-in-law bought the baby today too. She did the sweetest thing today as well, she sent me pink roses and carnations to my work. They are beautiful. It has been one blessed day. All I can say it Thank you Lord!

P.S. If your wondering about names, we are not sure yet but I'm pushing for Caylee Elise. Elise was my late grandmothers middle name.

I am sooooo excited for you guys. I will be looking for that special camo outfit for her. If that is her name what will you call her Caylee or Elise. I love the name. Elise is a pretty name no one seems to use anymore.

I am so very thankful that your baby girl is ok. That alone is the most important thing, whether that baby be a girl or boy. Keep that in mind and you stay up there in your cloud and please don't allow Randal or anyone else to bring you down. We love you and are so excited for you. God is good!

By the way, I LOVE THE NAME!!!

Little girls are so much fun! Hannah watches turkey hunting videos with Josh. She will walk around and say "turkey" "boom." So girls can do all the stuff boys can but can look pretty in the process! I am glad that everything is going good for you.
