Long Memorial Weekend

It has been a very good long weekend for me. I was off on Friday too. I have gotten lots of rest. I slept late on Friday and hung out at the house cleaning and changing my winter clothes for my summer clothes in my closet. This was very frustrating that most of my summer clothes don't fit now. I believe it is getting about that time to buy maternity clothes. I have only a small selection of summer clothes that I can fit in and they won't fit much longer.

Friday night we had a "Girls Night Out" at Teales house. We ate pizza and junk and watched P.S. I Love You. It was a better good movie. I love getting together with the "girls". I didn't get home until about 12:45 so I slept late on Saturday. Randal and I didn't get up until 8:45 or so. We decided to bond Saturday and spend the day together so we went to the Walmart and to the thrift store and hung out at the house (even got another nap in) until about 3:30 then we headed over to his best buddies brothers house in Mt. Olive for a cookout for their mom that was turning 70. We had a blast. We ate and played horseshoes. I haven't played horseshoes in years. Randal and I did beat his best friend Greg and his wife at a game. It was lots of fun. We got to see some other friends of ours that we haven't seen in awhile.

Sunday we had church and decoration in Lynns Crossing. So after church we had a big meal down at one of Randals good friends house and then I took a 2 1/2 hour nap (I love naps). We went to bed early Sunday night too. I've gotten lots of much needed rest this weekend.

Today, I got up early and walked 3 miles on the treadmill (much needed since I've eaten all weekend long). Read my bible and got ready to go see my Maw Maw at the nursing home. She was doing ok. She seems to have more of an appetite these days which is good since she is really not liking that nursing home and says she isn't going to eat or anything. After I went to see her, I went to the Jasper Mall to shop. JcPenney was having a good sale and Belks too. I got me some maternity clothes and bought me some Yellowbox flip flops. I've never had any of these and I love them.

I go back to the doctor tomorrow so I will make another post tomorrow night. I'm 4 months now. Can't hardly wait to find out what this precious baby is so I can start calling it by his/her name.

Hope everyone had a great long weekend and a big Thanks so all the soldiers and troops that are out serving our country. I'm also so very thankful that Stentsen got home safe. Thanks Stentsen for all that you have done and continue to do for our country. Happy Memorial Day!
