Catching Up

It has been awhile since I have posted. Sorry! I've been so tired this past two weeks I didn't even get online at all last week.

As far as the baby is going. I guess everything is fine except being really tired at least every other day. A few days ago I started getting the shakes and so now I've noticed that if I east something every 2 hours I'm fine. Hope I'm not about to get the morning sickness. Oh well - we will deal with it. Bring it on. I've waited this long for a baby, I will deal with whatever comes my way to have this precious baby. I go for my next ultrasound on May 5th at 9am. I will be 12 weeks then. I think it will be early yet to find out what it is but maybe so. The chinese chart and the hanging pencil states it is going to be a boy. I"m feeling boy myself. We shall see. Please continue to pray for us.

All I've been up to is work, exercising and bed. I did go to another pageant that my mother-in-law was in at Hancesville last weekend. She didn't win but she got Miss Congentaility. She was so excited. I think that was the best one I'd been to. There were lots of good talent at this one. I also went to my niece Hannahs softball game last Thursday in Mt. Brook. She lives in Madison, AL and goes to Madison Academy Christian School. They lost 4-2. Seems like every time my mother-in-law and I go to her games they lose. I guess we need to stop going to them huh? I enjoyed watching her play though. This is her last year to play, she graduates in May and goes to college in South Alabama. She is going to be a Doctor like her dad.

Yesterday was "Launch Day" at the Gardendale Civic Center where they started the Les Mills classes like they did at the old gym that I went to that closed. They had BodyStep and BodyPump It was from 9-1. I went and actually made it thru both classes. A friend of mine went (she is 5 months pregnant) so we really just took it easy and tried not to get too hot and took lots of water and bathroom breaks.

Last night I meet 3 of my good friends that I used to go to Hoover Church of Christ with years ago at The Cheesecake Factory. We had a ball. I got pork chops and spinach (I don't like spinach but I'm trying to eat better for the baby) and some fresh broccoli. Oh and I got some Fresh Banana Cream Cheesecake to go. We had to wait an hour to get seated but that was ok since we were catching up. We hadn't seen each other in over a year. One of the girls got me a gift certificate to Motherhood and another one got me some cute baby thank you cards. How thoughtful was that. I didn't expect anything. They are such sweet Christian sisters in Christ. I'm hoping we can get togehter more often. I'm so blessed to have so many Christian friends.

YAY!! I can comment now! I am SO excited!! I read your blog every day, and it was killing me not being able to comment, especially about your precious baby. :)

I am so glad you had a great weekend of catching up with friends. And surprises too! That is always nice.

And I'm glad you are feeling good, too! :)

Hey, glad to hear that you are doing well. I hope you don't fall into the morning sick category!! That's not fun at all, but like you said, you will get through it. I can't wait to find out what you are having, it's so exciting. I did the pencil/string thing and it told me I would have a boy and it was right! Well, can't wait to see you this weekend!!
