12 Week Doctors Visit
Well it is finally here. My 12 week doctors visit. I was so excited to get the doctor today that I was 20 minutes early. Short doctors visit but I got to hear that precious baby's heartbeat. When he was looking for the heartbeat and found it he said "Either you just ran a marathon or that is your baby's heartbeat" It was very fast, I asked the doctor if that meant it was a girl and he said not necessarily. I'm so relieved that everything is going good. I just got my finger pricked, peed in a cup and got my blood pressure checked and the heartbeat. I go back in 4 weeks then at 18 weeks I will have an other ultrasound where I can find out what it is. I go for the special ultrasound at UAB on Monday. I can't wait to see how much the baby has grown. I'm hoping by some slim chance that the baby will have its legs wide open and maybe can tell what it is but probably not. I'm not going to worry about it though I will just wait 5 more weeks.

I'm so glad you got to hear the heartbeat!! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the baby isn't shy so we can find out if we can buy cute pink stuff or cute blue stuff :o)

I am glad everything is going well. I still think she is a girl. What about 2 and one is hiding behind the one they can see? I am just picking on you. Maybe you can see what she is on Monday, but probably not since it is so early.
