Well I have a few things to talk about on this blog post. We had our Ladies' Retreat last Friday and Saturday at the Alabama 4-H Club. It was awesome. The fellowship and spiritual uplift. Oh and not to mention the beautiful snow we got early on Saturday morning for about 3 hours and quiet just in time for us to drive home safely. I've had a sinus infection again (yes this is the 4th time since October ) so I haven't felt the best for about a week or so. I didn't get to go out in the snow and play due to that. I had fun enjoying it inside. I really enjoyed playing games with everyone. We stayed up until about 2:15 playing games. We had a blast. I always look forward to this time with my sisters in Christ.
After the retreat, mother and I went to see my grandmother. She seems to be adjusting better at the nursing home. She has gained 2 pounds. She was getting really skinny so any pound was thankful. I'm hoping each week will get better for her. I only get to see her 2 times week since it is so far from home.
I took Friday off so I could get my last two days to hunt before the season ends next week. Needless to say I didn't kill anything. It was sooooo cold. I think I had about 5 layers of clothes on. I did see some nice bucks and two does but I didn't have a good shot. Maybe next year I can kill a big buck.
On a good note, my mother-in-law was in the Miss Senior Huntsville Rockets Saturday and she won. She is still in Huntsville so I haven't gotten to get any pictures since I didn't go.
Today is a good friend of mine from church has a birthday. Happy Birthday Erin! Hope you have a great one!

I'm glad you had a good time at the retreat. I told you you'd have a blast. It's awesome that ya'll got to goof off in the snow some.
